Myself, husband & 4 children stayed at Glenshane Country House for 4 nights & what an experience! The house is just beautiful, so spacious & luxurious, even better in 'real life". What struck us was the cleanliness of the property & how comfy the beds were, we couldn't get out of them! Everything in the house is finished to a very high standard & attention to detail is second to none. Every utensil is at your fingertips and there's even a proper coffee-making machine which I indulged in! Jamese is a fantastic host, so hospitable and welcoming and there to help with anything. The views are stunning and the area's so peaceful yet everywhere is accessible & a short drive away. We've stayed in many properties but this one is top of the list, even our kids didn't want to go home, they had such a brilliant time asking 'when are we going back!' You won't regret staying here, our only regret was that our stay was too short but we'll definitely be back! Thank you Jamese.

WOW! We just stayed at Glenshane this April (2019) and can't say enough good things. Gorgeous, spacious, impeccable home in the scenic countryside. We stayed here as a family with two small children — and could easily have fit two more families! The location is a short drive to town and makes for an easy day trip up the Antrim coast or into Belfast. The hosts are so incredibly kind and accommodating. They own the sheep farm next door! I'd say this ideal for any occasion from a family holiday to a girls' weekend. Bonus: Ask Katie for a travel cot if you're bring a baby or toddler along.

This home is stellar! The host will go above and beyond. The views are amazing. The home is beautiful, it looks new. Extremely comfortable beds. The kitchen and home in general has everything you need and more. We arrived to a beautiful basket full of goodies. Nice unexpected treat. We got to watch the sheep dogs operate and experience life in a country home. It's even more beautiful than the pictures online.

Amazing hospitality, stunning home, real peace and tranquility! Glenshane Country House is a truly wonderful home away from home. Jamese and his wife are the most gracious and kind hosts - they welcomed us and made us feel like family friends! They had a wonderful basket of local foods to help get us started, including some wonderful home baked breads and eggs. They took time to get to know us and helped us find things to see in the local area. We enjoy nature and the 'off the beaten path' things, and they showed us some really unique parts of local history that you would never have known about and are not in any guide books! The home is just stunning - the photos don't really do it justice! Immaculate in side, warm inviting and homey, comfortable beds, all the amenities you could want, basics stocked in the kitchen to help get you started, and a very peaceful and tranquil setting. They own all the land around the home, as well as the sheep and it was fun getting to watch them (and Jamese's sheep dog) interact! Overall a wonderful home and a place we will definitely go back to! Thanks to you both for making us feel so welcome, and for sharing your beautiful home!

The hospitality of the host is outstanding, attention to detail goes above and beyond any expectation. Super communication and hosts were ever so thoughtful to our needs as a large family group.The house is immaculately clean and well presented aswell as very child friendly. Fabulous location, would highly recommend and hope to be back again very soon.

We had such a lovely stay in Glenshane Country House. The house is immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated. It is very spacious but still feels cosy. The beds are so comfy too! Jamese and Katie were fabulous hosts - so friendly, welcoming and just really nice people. If you're lucky you might even get the chance to see Jamese training his sheepdogs. The kids loved that! We can't thank you enough and we would all highly recommend!

Stayed for a week. 2 adults and 4 kids. The house is luxurious, modern, spacious and decorated to very high standard with luxury extras such as a jacuzzi bath, American fridge, coffee maker etc . Can't fault the house at all. Location is a great central point for exploring Northern Ireland. A short drive into the town of Maghera for food shopping, take aways etc. The views from the house are stunning. The area is beautiful and very peaceful. Felt very safe in this house. Would highly recommend Glenshane House. We fully intend to make a return visit in the future. Thanks Katie and Jamese.

We stayed here over Christmas 🎄 arrived on 23rd December and checked out on the 26th. As you can imagine it’s a big deal to choose the perfect spot to spend such a special holiday in. We got it 100%. The hosts made it perfect for us. The house is beautiful and tranquil and we will definitely return!

This is our 2nd time staying at this Country House and as we arrived to our fire lighting and a welcome basket with fresh scones and food, it just will get harder for my family 8 to leave this beautiful place. It has everything and more. The house is just so beautiful, so clean & comfortable and with stunning views of the Sperrin Mountains, what more could you ask for up North of Ireland. It has everything for children as Jamese and Katie have thought off everything to make your stay so special. It is so close to drive to Belfast and the Cliffs of Moher and after been out traveling and exploring I was looking forward is to sink in to the Jacuzzi on our return. It truly is a gem with the friendliest hosts that I have ever met. All my family our counting down the days to our next visit.
